Your body needs firming up? Coffee scrub recipes

Coffee doesn’t only adrenalize and taste delicious but also reduces cellulite. Caffeine that coffee features smooths orange peel skin and firms flabby skin up. When applied to face, it reduces skin pores, removes dead epidermis cells and lightens up redness. And these are just a few reasons proving why it’s worth regularly reaching for coffee peeling. Recipe no. 1

Remove water from used coffee grounds and, when still warm, distribute them on your face avoiding eye skin area. Keep massaging for a few minutes in order to remove dead epidermis cells. Wash your face with lukewarm water and, if you feel your skin being exceptionally tight, follow with a delicate moisturizing cream.

Recipe no. 2

Add egg white to used coffee grounds and mix. Massage your skin with this scrub. Rinse after 2 minutes using lukewarm water.

Recipe no. 3

Add a few drops of an oil, for example jojoba oil or sweet almond oil, to used coffee grounds. Keep massaging the scrub delicately and longer than the above-mentioned. You can let the scrub sit on your face but make sure that you manage to remove it before drying-out. Then, rinse it using lukewarm water. In this way you will additionally moisturize skin.

RECIPES FOR BODY COFFEE SCRUB

Recipe no. 1

Add 2-3 spoons of olive oil to 1/2 glass of used coffee grounds. Mix the ingredients until you obtain an even texture. Then, you can apply the scrub to the cellulite-affected body parts. Keep massaging it using either your hands or a rough massage glove for a several minutes and then wash your body with a gel. The water you use should always be lukewarm – never too hot.

Recipe no. 2

Mix brown sugar with used coffee grounds and add your favorite oil. The proportions might be as follow: 1/2 glass of used coffee grounds for 1/2 glass of brown sugar. Keep adding oil drops until you obtain the desired consistency of your homemade body coffee scrub. Just bear in mind that the thicker the scrub is, the stronger exfoliating power it has. This body scrub is destined for horny skin that is irritation-prone.

Recipe no. 3

Mix your skin-problem-targeting cosmetic clay with water following the proportions: 3 spoons of clay for 1 spoon of water. Combine a glass of used coffee grounds with 2 small grated carrots and the clay pulp you’ve already prepared. Mix all the ingredients and keep massaging your body with the scrub for a few minutes. You can apply the scrub to all body parts except neck and face. At the end, wash your body with a gentle soap.
